Omigosh, I love New York! AMEX can schedule my commercial anytime, and I'll be ready for my close up. The reading with A.J. Jacobs last night was super-fun (although I can't believe how many pictures I forgot to take), and I'm excited to be hanging out with the book club from Redeemer Presbyterian Church tonight. In between, I'm guessing there might be shopping :)
Right now, I'm sitting in the lobby of the hotel (that's where they keep the free internet access), watching hoards of high school students on their way to visit the Statue of Liberty. Bless the parents brave enough to chaperone THAT trip...I can't even imagine! And someone's baby is VERY unhappy to be checking out.
Time for me to get some coffee :)

It was so great to meet you last night!!!!
I hope you are having a great (and dry) day today and have a good discussion tonight.
Oh, I would've loved to have been there. I love AJ Jacobs' books and I am absolutely loving yours (cracked up when I read about the cluster flies). I'm at the part where you're reading the whole Bible.
I, too, LOVE NY. I'm so glad you're having a great time! I can't wait to hear about your time tonight at Redeemer Pres.
much love,

Yayyy! So glad it is going well! I love New York, too :)
I love NY too!! I hope there is lots of shopping involved...let us know where you go/what you buy!
i dream of this....
again, go you!
Oh NYC, you know how much I love it, Trish?!
I am in awe of any parents who would supervise school trips, especially those who would fork out their own money to go overseas and supervise school trips.
By the way, were you aware you had yourself a little tour of Christchurch today? See my blog for the hard proof!
Glad you're having fun on the tour!! Can't wait to see the new photos. :)
Trish, I just wanted to stop by and let you know that I just started your book last night and am really enjoying it! As a 40-something, and still single woman I can absolutely relate to your adventures in dating as well as you spiritual search...sounds like everything I've been through myself.
I hope the book becomes a great success, it certainly speaks to the travels of a lot of us, I know I'm going to recommend it to my other single girlfriends.
