THAT DOG and I saw the first flakes of snow this morning. It wasn't exactly a magical Gilmore Girls moment, what with the ominous gray sky and the poop to be scooped, but it felt special, nonetheless. This has been the longest, most beautiful autumn (not just fall, which sounds rather negative when you think about it, but autumn) I can remember. I can't really begrudge the snow when there have been gorgeous, just-ripened pear colored leaves outside my bedroom window for almost a month now, which is kind of a miracle here in the city. That makes the top of my thankfulness list this year.
THAT DOG is thankful that I can't cook without dropping food on the floor, and that the cozy winter comforter is back on the bed for her lounging pleasure.

What am I thankful for? Not being sick anymore - that was NASTY.
Warm, sunny day here. I'm very thankful for a Monday morning where are the kids and the hubby are at work. It's me the dog, the chameleons, the tree frog, the hamster....and my current ms. :)
It's supposed to snow here in the next couple of days, woohoo!
Snow? Is that the white, flaky stuff that drifts peacefully down in places that have real winters? Sigh. It's 75 and sunny here. Maybe by Christmas it'll be cold, at least for Alabama. :-)
I am still working on my thank you list for Thanksgiving... but I am definitely thankful to be cuddling up in sweaters and scarves. It's nice to feel cozy!
I am thankful that it reached 80 degrees here, although I hear it's supposed to snow in a couple days. Crazy weather.
Oh I'll be posting one of my sappy thankful posts soon. Just you wait, missy. And you can rest assured you are on my continuing list when I thank God.
Snow. (sigh) I actually miss it. But going to the grocery store today in jeans, long sleeves and my Berks? I sure don't mind that.
