7/7: Winners! We Have Winners!

I was up late into the night, reading your funny comments and feeling great about this wild crazy blog world we inhabit. Thank you for playing along with me...this has been a fun seven days :)

And now, without further ado, the winners!

Congratulations, Grits!

Congratulations Kristen Dedeyn Kirk!

Congratulations Susie!

Congratulations Liz!

Congratulations Joy!

Congratulations Nicole!

(this is Allison Winn Scotch's second novel, TIME OF MY LIFE , our mystery pick)

Congratulations Ruby (Mouth)!

If you see your name on this list, please send me your mailing address: trishryanonline AT gmail DOT com.

After I'd picked all the winners, I felt this Rosie O'Donnell-esque urge to give more (Rosie and I don't have all that much in common, but our love of giving away free stuff bonds us like sisters). I dreamed (dreamt?) up three fun, froggy care packages, each of which will contain a copy of HE LOVES ME HE LOVES ME NOT, a decorative lip glossed mug, and this very funny "Grow a Prince" kit, where you drop a frog in water and watch what happens (I'll admit that I've not tried this, so I make no promises about the outcome...)

If you didn't win but still want to, drop me a comment...tell me about your favorite lip gloss or lipstick (or if you're a Chapstick girl...that's okay too) I'll pick three tomorrow :)

I won so no need to enter me, though this is really cute. LOL! My favorite kind of lip gloss is Watermelon flavored by Avon. I love it because it is moist and keeps my lips from getting chapped.

Fun giveaways!

My favorite lip gloss ever I got from Sephora in Warsaw, Poland. It was an orangy gloss which I wasn't sure would work well with my coloring, but lo and behold, it did, made me feel sexy, and I couldn't be parted from it. They don't seem to make the same kind of lip gloss over here any more, so I have to rely on Revlon for their lipstick, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do, right?

I'm a Burt's Bees Honey lip gloss kind of girl :-)

Hi Trish,

I'm so happy that Redeemed is coming my way.

Thank you!

I've added the other books to my Facebook virtual bookshelf so I can remember to look for them, too.

Proof that I need the pick-me-up you've given me: I have no idea what my favorite lipstick color is. I'm thinking of spending a day at the mall when the kids go back to school trying to find one. After I read Redeemed, that is.

I used to be a fancy-schmancy lip gloss/lipstick kinda girl until I came across these Almay TLC lasting lip color duos - they stay on forever, are not too dry or clumpy and let me have pretty pink lips all day without having to reapply lipstick post-meal using the tines of my fork as a mirror. Since then I've gone gung-ho for drugstore cosmetics and I highly recommend Neutrogena's mineral foundations as well. Ah, the joys of cheap chic ;-) almost as exciting as a good book!

Hi - found you just now via Alison Pace. Well, I always love whichever one I've just bought, but I am loving these Neutrogena sheer glosses, I have one in a pale pink and it looks fabulous and, most importantly, doesn't feel crazy thick. Perfect for summer and keeps my lips from getting dry and chapped. I used to think you needed big color to have sexy lips but I like this one cause it's just a hint of color.

Gretchen - love that you went to Sephora in Warsaw!

I just picked up this lip gloss in NYC at Sephora, it's called Macchu Pichu by Cargo. I loved the shades and that it's named after a Peruvian landmark. Usually I'm just a Burt's Bees kinda girl, but this stuff makes me feel super girly! Someday my prince will come! :)

Haha. I won. But I had to wait all day to figure it out. I could read the post in my reader but couldn't click on anything to see if I was indeed the right Nicole. I know I can't win the gloss, but just thought the I would add that I love C.O. Bigelow's Peppermint gloss. It's yummy and it has a slight tint to give a little color.

ooo i like winning, and i would love to read your book. i saw it in the coop the other day, which was so fun! i love your blog.

as for lip gloss, i love many. my recent fav is from the body shop, called high-shine lip treatment, my color is mauve dream. it is in a clear tube. it is super sticky and lasts a very long time. i also like the alba brand gloss from whole foods.

My can't live without chapstick is Savex chapstick. You can only buy it online, but it's the best!

I love Elizabeth Arden lipgloss. I got a set for Christmas 2 years ago and have to stock up 2 or 3 times a year.
