Say you accidentally flushed your favorite hair clip down the toilet...
But, miracle of miracles, the toilet sent it back to you (almost like you were meant to have it!) with the new water. Would you:
a.) Wash the clip in your favorite antibacterial soap and thank God for plastic-resistant plumbing? or
b.) Throw the clip away and lament its loss forever?
(Did I mention that it's your FAVORITE hair clip?)

Of course, a) is the correct answer. It will be also a good training for parenthood -- you cannot imagine how many things you are gonna to salvage from unspeakable filth just to make them shiny beauties your kids will love forever (or at least, until they throw it into some unspeakable again ;-)).
No-brainer: A. It's your favorite.
WASH IT!! :)
isn't that why God invented anti-bacterial soap? If it was your child's toy you would throw it in the dishwasher and give it back to them...and they would probably put it in their mouth, but hey, if dishes get clean in the dishwasher so do toys. and clips. and whatever.
xox
Definitely A :)
I'd do B, but I'm wasteful like that. Get a really, really good soap!
If they still made the hairclip, I would go with b. If you can no longer purchase the hairclip, go with a and run it in a cycle thru the dishwasher(very high heat, just make sure it's in the top rack).
Definitely keep it. Just wash it!
hmm. i'd soak it. in bleach. for two days.
but i'm a germ-a-phobe. :)
here's hoping you and your clip are reunited soon!
have a happy happy holiday and wonderfuly new year! :)
Was there anything else in the toilet at the time? :)
TOTALLY wash it and keep wearing it. Actually, me being me, I probably wouldn't even use soap, I'd probably just rinse it with water and just go with it. But yeah, that's just me.
And ha, for reals, my word verification is PRIDE!
I've totally done this...and I washed that sucker till it was good and clean. :) This from a nurse remember.
Wash it and give it to someone for Christmas. :) Just kidding.
I'm with Swishy, as long as nothing was in the toliet, I'd wash it and keep it. If something was in it. Ewww!
ha ha my word is rudes..
