Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

You know New England weather is nasty when The Boston Globe runs a feature photo section of springtime in other places. Never before have I looked longingly at a scenic view of Pittsburgh and thought, "If only...." My devoted hubby stood longingly outside of Fenway Park last night, hoping against hope that the sleet would subside and he could take his favorite seat in left field and count how many times Manny Ramirez ducks into the Green Monster to use the mens' room. But alas, it was not to be.

Is it spring where you are? If so, don't tell me. I am taking this as a WONDERFUL opportunity to get just a little more use out of my favorite scarf and gloves set. Really, what could be better?

Would it help you to know that Texas had Bostonian weather for Easter? Our former-Boston family was prepared for this as we still don't pack away our warm clothes like most Texans do at the end of Feb. And yes, it's spring here. But don't be too jealous unless you're really fond of tornados, hail and severe thunder storms that can shred trees.

We've had snow this week if that helps at all.

We had a freak snowstorm on Wednesday, but it melted in one day and now the weather is improving. I'm relieved. Hang in there through your spring snowstorm!

I really do sympathise, as that is what always happens in New Zealand, at least the South Island. We didn't have real summer weather until the end of February... just in time for summer holidays to finish. Right now I can't torture you with beautiful spring weather because it's autumn. :)

Ughh, so not spring. This is ridiculous! It was 80 degrees three weeks ago!

It was very snowy all this week BUT we're supposed to be in for beautiful springlike weather this upcoming week. I HOPE SO!

No kidding. The gloves and scarf are going to be worn out at this rate. We had about 6 inches of snow earlier this week. It's melting fast, but it was still a bit of an insult.

We had a little cold snap here too. I'm sure not quite the same as yours being that I'm in Texas, but for us, it was something.

Don't worry, the warm weather will soon be upon us. And in my case, stay until late October. UGH!

Oh, I heard they were even thinking of calling off the Boston marathon. I hope they didn't
