Vacation!

We're heading out this morning for a week in the woods of Maine. We have bathing suits, bug spray, and mint for mojitos. (I've even learned that they're made from rum and not vodka, which seems like good information to have...) What more could we possibly need? I'll be back next week with new tales of moose sightings, lake floating, and THAT DOG's escapades in the great outdoors. See you then!

Just finished your memoir. Actually I read it in just a few days, it was so compelling.

I have had a strange journey myself and seeing your transition and eventual success in life gave me more hope.

I'm more at the questioning phase of faith and religion, probably due to being raised Catholic :). But your story gave me pause and made me rethink giving Chrisitanity a fair look. Not to find a husband, as I am recently divorced, but as something to build upon and get myn life back together. So thank you for your inspiring story!

Oh, and have fun in Maine! I live in portland now and LOVE this state!

One day I'm going to make it to Maine. I'm building it up in my mind so much, I really hope it measures up. My younger son is obsessed with going just for the potential to pick blueberries.

Enjoy it!

I'm getting caught up so at least I have a ton of your posts to keep me company while you're gone.

I'll be in Boston soon. Can't wait to see you!
