Write Now

I'm thinking about writing for a class I'll be teaching next week.

Do you like writing? I mean writing in the general, everyday sense, rather than WRITING (which is what we do when we think people--rather than friends or loved ones--will be reviewing our efforts).

Tell me: What's something you've written in the past day or so: a grocery list, labels for file folders, descriptions for the pics in your online photo album???

I have written so much in the last day or so that I am completely overjoyed that my season of writer's block is apparently over (for now). I have written in my journal, on my blog, on other people's blogs, notes in my CDF class, the names and info of my students in my program at work, and revised a portion of one of my books - ALL IN A DAY. It feels so good to put pen to paper and in some cases fingertips to keyboard that I hope the joy lasts forever. Oh yeah...sorry about deleting my last comment...I was writing so fast I made a typo...

So far today I've written comments on blogs and on YouTube videos, a note to my daughter's teacher, an email to my mom... and a text message to my husband.

I've posted comments on my facebook pages on photos, blogged on my blog and others, and sent out emails.

I've written on my blog and in my journal, plus I've made a to-do list for work and a grocery list. On Sunday at church, I actually took notes during the sermon. (It suddenly dawned on me - hey, I may actually remember this if I take notes! Yeah, I'm a little slow.) :-)

Emails, a resignation (that one was fun though), and do-to lists. Those aren't that interesting as I HAVE to do them to get through my day.

writing in my journal is an almost daily source of pleasure, as if writing comments on blogs, writing new stuff for my own blog, and writing emails to friends. I believe that thanks to the internet, we write more than ever.

Ugh, good question! I wrote lots of things in the past couple of days including a list of things I needed to do and or buy for my hubby's surprise b'day celebration on Saturday (he just turned 40 yesterday!) I also wrote a grocery list, a Target list, and a political piece that was on BettyConfidential, and also another piece for Betty that is about me hating laundry!

Glad you asked huh? And yeah, I wrote this comment and some blog posts!

Miss chatting! : )

i write everyday for work, though very rarely is it stuff I love!

today I wrote:

• emails
• IMs
• comments on blogs
• a blog post (still yet to post)
• headlines, more headlines and more headlines still for work
• in my calendar (shopping day with mom!)

And in my head, my resignation letter. can't wait to put that one to use! (please? anyone?)
