Goals & High Fives

I'm laying out the blueprint tonight so tomorrow will feel like an accomplished day. It doesn't take much for me to feel like I deserve a high five for my great exploits, so you'd think it would happen with some regularity. But over the past few weeks, high fives have been few and far between.

So for tomorrow, I'm making GOALS. Not intimidating goals, but rather the little ones that are easy to accomplish and (the theory goes) will set me up for a lifetime of success.

So far, I have one goal: To FLOSS.

But I need more to choose from. That's where you come in! Should I sign up for polka lessons? Learn five new words from the dictionary? Translate an article from the Sunday paper into the French/Spanish hybrid my friend Cathy and I developed in law school?

Suggestions, please!

definitely polka lessons! Or, east coast swing...you can do it to almost any music being played at a wedding and everyone will think you and steve are fabulous dancers! Oh, and there is also the worm...there are some great youtube how-to videos on learning it. :)

You had time to develop a French/Spanish hybrid in law school?!

I say you shouldn't lose that language skill.

I say take a nice long walk with "THAT DOG" - a walk in brisk air always rejuvinates me and exercise can help squelch the funk.

I'm going to agree with Rachael--it's not warm by any stretch of the imagination, but it is occasionally sunny and (here's the kicker) not precipitating at the moment. I would seize the opportunity to take a walk while you can. In fact, MY DOG and I might do the same thing at lunch...

I came across this looking for high five and happiness links. Here is someone who gives high fives just to bring smiles to strangers
