Soy it ain't so

I was reading a magazine this weekend and came across an entire article devoted to the merits of various brands of soy underwear. That's underwear--briefs and boxers and thongs and all manner of other unmentionables--made from BEANS.

Why, in a world plagued with starvation, are we turning our legumes into what Amazon.com calls "Mens' contour pouch briefs"???

Then again, there's a good chance I don't want to know.

feh feh feh, the things we crazy people do for the "fashionable" concern of sustainable environment--including our clothing. Feh feh feh for making it a trend instead of seeking out, as a cultural standard, alternatives to cotton, wool, etc!

But it's true--so weird--to see SOY pop up everywhere, even for our undergarments (and other unmentionables).

Wow. That is incredible, perpetuating world hunger by "environmentalism" fads... wow. I do believe this is a new low for society. ;o)

Beware of the soy! Although it's "natural," the properties mimic hormones...really, this stuff is not as "safe" and "good for you" as claimed. As for what soy could do in men's briefs...I'm with Patti. ;)

Ugggh!!!
Truly odd stuff, huh?
I think some people have too much time (and money) on their hands when it comes to 'product research' but then again, maybe they know something I don't!
