Fruit
Steve brought this home. He says it's a pear. To which I say, Someone needs to contact the people at Pear Production and let them know of a specifications fail...
It either looks like an Asian pear or an apple. Asian pears are the yummiest of all pears. Also I'm linking to an article about Asian pears. Apples aren't pears.
I know...they're supposed to be different, right? This looks like an apple where something went wrong...or like Mama pear was left alone with Papa apple and this is what resulted (which would explain the low sale price at Market Basket...)
Have you ever tried the cross between an apple and a grape? I think they're called grapples? Delicious! Although my children aren't as enamored as their mother.
