I skipped the gym, too. Here's what I did: sat on the couch, thinking I would just chill out for 15 MINUTES before I went to work out. That was around 8. Next thing I know, it's 1:40. And then of course I couldn't fall asleep again until almost 5. I just told myself my body needed to sleep more than it needed to work out :)
I like to eat potato chips when watching such shows, or beauty pageants, america's next top model etc. I'd go to the gym if they allowed me to eat junk food & watch. It is frowned upon.

Well, you all know how I feel about the gym. I go but it's usually a disaster. I'm beginning to think I'd be better off skipping.
Can I write the forward for "Avoiding Weight Loss"? Or at least be a contributing subject matter expert...
